Working with CONNECT scalder, the feathers is easy operation, simple structure, low power, maintenance rate very low. The whole equipment is closed system which reducing the heat lose.The equipment including tank body, heating supply system, over head conveyor, automatic temperature control, automatic water supply, and closed cover. The air blowing system including blower, air pipes.

Connect high quality air-agitated scalder machine guarantee you get an optimum de-feathering result of poultry with its' water agitation and temperature automatic control. Processing times are especially critical in the slaughtering department. For optimum feather removal, the right balance between temperature and scalding time should be applied. There are three type of scalding time:
High temperature scalding71~82℃,30~60s. High temperature boiling is good for remove feather which to reduce the microbial on body, the color of carcass is yellow which is attractive for retail.
By this way, since the surance is injury by high temperature, the storage period is shorter than low temperature processing. Another shortage, high temperature make the chest muscle fiber becomes old, also easily lead to subcutaneous fat and moisture
loss, so normally not processing by this method.
Media temperature Scalding.
Terms: 58.9 ~ 65°C, 30 ~ 75S
Feather: It is easily to remove the feather, surface slightly sticky, wet, uniform in color, bright, suitable for freezing,coating
,wrapping of frying. Due to the fall off of cutin which lose the protection layer, the microbial easily grows during storage
period.
Low temperature Scalding
Terms: 50 ~ 54°C , 90~ 120S
Feather: the surface of carcass complete,suitable for all kinds of packing and freezing. It is suitable for broiler. The feather
on neck and wings not easy to remove completely for hens ,mothers or fathers. For these big size and long time raised poultry, the
media or high temperature is preferred.
